Job Description

WHO WE ARE:

Virtualspirit is a bespoke app development agency based in Malaysia and Indonesia (soon). We helped business owners to elevate their business by using technology.

We are specializing in Ruby on Rails (Web App) & React Native / Ionic (Mobile App).

 

We would like to invite individuals who are passionate about web or mobile development to join our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Working with a team of expert developers.
  • Working closely with the UI Designer for front end development.
  • Establishing and maintaining a consistent user experience across different browsers / mobile devices.
  • In charge of developing a new front end improvement across our multiple web properties.
  • Documentation of best practice

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficiency in English.
  • Strong knowledge of CSS/SASS/HTML/JavaScript/jQuery framework.
  • Strong knowledge of Version Control such as Git.
  • Strong knowledge of Ruby on Rails web application development framework.
  • Solid understanding of Ruby principles and its core concepts.
  • Able to deliver responsive web design.

 

TECHNOLOGY STACK / TOOLS:

  • Ruby on Rails
  • HTML / CSS3 / SASS / JAVASCRIPT / JQUERY
  • React
  • Digital Ocean / AWS / Heroku
  • Postgres / MySQL
  • Linux / Mac Environment

 

ADDITIONAL PLUS:

  • Familiar with frontend framework (React)
  • Understand DevOps practices (Capistrano, Chef, Ansible)
  • Automation Testing (RSpec)

 

OFFER:

  • Salary starting $250/month (3.5m IDR) (depending on experience and qualifications) - (2 months probation)
  • Work remotely + Office in Bandung
